Not quite as famous as its serious Swedish cousin, the Ig Nobel honours scientific achievements that make people "laugh, and then think". An Australian scientist, Flinders University Chemistry Professor Colin Raston, along with his team, have just won the Ig Nobel chemistry prize for partially un-boiling an egg.
